| Emily, it has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve as Vice President to our President, Joe Biden. Joe's legacy of accomplishment is unmatched in modern history. He got the COVID-19 pandemic under control, created nearly 16 million new jobs, and brought together Republicans and Democrats to pass historic legislation. From being with him in the Oval Office to the Situation Room -- and seeing him on the global stage with world leaders -- I am a firsthand witness: President Joe Biden fights for the American people, and I am deeply grateful for his service to our nation.
