20 Drivers, 43 canvassers... on ground in Rapid City... Čhaŋté waštéya napé čhiyúzapi yeló, Friend. (I shake your hands with a good heart.) As we told you yesterday, the Four Directions team is on the ground - right now - in Rapid City, South Dakota turning out Native American voters in the 2019 Municipal Election. We're working to turn out Native American voters in the Rapid City Mayoral and City Council races where for the first time ever, Native Americans -- four women and one man -- are running for nearly every office on the ballot in today's election. So far today, we have 36 drivers taking people to their local polling place so they can vote. And, we have hired 41 additional canvassers to get people out to vote. We're making a difference. | But we can only keep up today's effort with your help. And if the White Nationalist graffiti in the local park this weekend wasn't bad enough - get this: the Rapid City website had the incorrect polling place listed in Ward 4, Precinct 3 as of this morning, after voting had started, though it was changed back in January.
