Without one Republican vote, courageous Democrats expanded affordable health care coverage to tens of millions more Americans; improved the rights of everyone with health insurance; guaranteed protections from denials of care for 150 million Americans with preexisting medical conditions and banned annual and lifetime limits on health care. So let's be clear about what it would mean if Trump "terminates" this legislation: - 40 million Americans would be kicked off their health care immediately
- 150 million with pre-existing conditions could be denied coverage.
- Families would face lifetime limits on care once again.
- Young adults would no longer be able to stay on family plans until age 26.
- Access to mental health care would be decimated.
- Being a woman would be a pre-existing condition, once again.

These aren't just numbers. Every denial of care is a physical, emotional and financial tragedy for the patient and their family. Democrats refuse to go back to the days of greedy insurance companies denying care -- and life, itself -- to patients. We will protect patients' rights and strengthen and expand -- not terminate -- the Affordable Care Act! Voters across the country must know their health care is at risk if Trump is reelected.
