Earlier this year, the DNC announced that we will invest $17,500 in every Democratic state party each month, with an additional $5,000 per month going toward parties in Republican-controlled states. This comes out to a total of over $1 million invested in our state parties every single month. And that will have a powerful multiplier effect across the country.

You see, an investment like this doesn't just impact major presidential, congressional, and statewide elections — it can also carry weight for Democrats in down-ballot races as well.

We like to call these nested opportunities. The monthly investments we make now will help Democratic state parties expand their base by hiring more staff, growing their on-ground organizing programs and strategies, contacting more voters well ahead of Election Day, and making sure they're paying attention to the harm Trump and his allies are inflicting.

On top of that, we've recently launched Organizing Summer — our nationwide effort to mobilize volunteers and voters to build Democratic power on the ground in every state nationwide ahead of the 2026 election cycle.

And again, this on-the-ground organizing program will impact more than just federal and statewide races — getting folks involved and informed now will help boost down-ballot Democrats, too.

This work might not be flashy, but it's absolutely essential as we work to elect Democrats at all levels who can check Trump's power in their cities, districts, and states.
