The DNC and Association of State Democratic Committees recently announced a historic "organize everywhere, win anywhere" strategy – a four-year agreement to deliver more resources than ever before to Democratic state and territory parties.

Each state party will receive a baseline of $17,500 a month, a $5,000 per month increase over the last agreement, and Republican-controlled states will receive an additional investment of $5,000 a month through the DNC's Red State Fund, putting their total at $22,500 every month. Every state party will benefit:

The combined investments total a monthly transfer of more than $1 million from the DNC to state parties — the committee's largest investment into Democratic state parties in history.

Strategic investments like these don't just matter in presidential or statewide races. They have a powerful multiplier effect (nested opportunities, as we like to call it) for Democrats down the ballot, too — which is absolutely essential as we work to elect more leaders who will check Trump's power.

These investments will allow state parties to build critical infrastructure and hire more staff, strengthen their data and tech operations, strengthen their on-the-ground organizing programs, and better prepare for upcoming election cycles — not just in the months ahead, but in the years to come.

I'll do my best to keep this brief: I'm reaching out with an exciting update on our work here at the DNC.

Just the other day, we announced a historic agreement to send $1 million every month into our Democratic state parties. That means your local Democratic party — where you live — is going to start getting new resources to win races that affect your life.

This is a huge deal.

Here's how it will work:

This is an investment unlike anything Democrats have done in modern times. Elections are won in states — and that's exactly where we'll be investing our resources.

When I ran for DNC chair, I said two things over and over.

First, we have to get the DNC out of D.C. We don't win races in Washington. We win them by pounding pavement, building relationships with voters, and showing folks that we're on their side.

Second, we have to organize everywhere — because when we organize everywhere, we compete everywhere, which means we can win anywhere. Our latest investment is how we start turning that philosophy into reality. We're putting our money where our mouth is to equip state parties with what they need to reach voters, build long-term success all across the ballot, and gain electoral ground for years to come.

So when you get messages like this one asking you for $5 or $10, that's how your donation will be put to work: Investing in state parties all over the country, and helping elect Democrats to as many offices as we can — this year, next year, and beyond.
