Last night at the Republican National Convention Donald Trump was officially named the GOP's nominee for President of the United States.
How did it come to this? Not long ago, Donald Trump was best known for intentionally bankrupting his own businesses and getting fired from his own reality TV show; now he’s the Republican heir presumptive.
As ridiculous as it sounds Trump’s candidacy is not a joke.
This is a man who is proposing that we build a wall along the Mexican border and then has the audacity to suggest that Mexico will pay for it.
He’s advocated targeting family members of terrorists to combat ISIS, a tactic straight out of a dictator’s playbook.
Obnoxious. Flat-chested. Dumb. Piece of ass. These are words Trump has used to describe women. Unfortunately there are many, many more.
Donald Trump is a threat to American values. As we work to improve our country, Trump’s words and actions are dismantling our social contract. So what can we do about it?
I want you to remember this moment. This is the moment we decided to unite.
Unite Our Nation is a grassroots organization dedicated to bringing Americans together to stop Donald Trump from winning The White House. Our goal is to spotlight what makes America great and call attention to Americans who continue to create a more perfect Union.
I started this organization because I am outraged at the possibility of Donald Trump leading our nation. It’s unacceptable. It’s insane. And we cannot allow it.
