Here is the truth, directly and transparently: Democrats across the country have received a lot fewer individual donations so far this month than had been hoped for, and certainly less than the last few months. It's not great. Some of the reasons are totally understandable: the economy looks incredibly shaky, Elon is firing as many people as he can, and there are a lot of organizations that need help during this crazy time. But for those who care about stopping Trump's and electing a Democratic Congress, the next few days are critical for our movement — and the Democratic Party is hoping for lots of donations to sustain their work.
