The election is right around the corner, which means this is one of the final chances I have to make a personal request to you directly. So I'll get right to it.
Will you chip in $3 before midnight to help us put a great set of candidates over the top in races across the country?
Folks, when I wake up next Wednesday morning, I want to be able to look myself in the mirror and know that I've done everything I possibly could to have an impact on this election cycle.
And folks like you are a big part of the reason why I'll feel confident.
Because you stood with me, we've endorsed 122 candidates so far this year. We've supported US senators and local secretaries of state. We've stood by Democratic governors, state legislators, and candidates up and down the ballot.
And together, we've helped organizations like Let America Vote make it easier for folks to cast a ballot. We've supported the folks at Run for Something, who are helping to propel a new generation of progressive leadership into office.
Because of you, I've been able to hit the trail — talking to voters in dozens and dozens of cities in over 20 states. I've literally gone from Hartford to Hammond to Helena.
Because you've invested in this mission, because you've been there to lend your courage and your light, we've been able to accomplish more in this one year than I ever thought possible.
So before we officially hit November, can I ask you to chip in one more time?
