Judging by his tweets and his fundraising scare tactics, it’s pretty clear that Donald Trump watched our convention last week.
In an email to supporters from last week, he said that I and all the other convention speakers hate him and anyone who stands with him.
I have to say two things: he’s dead wrong, and he missed the entire point of our convention.
Our convention was an amazing display of what we Americans can accomplish if we come together and summon the best parts of us. We made it crystal clear that hate has no place in our party or our country.
We also made it clear that this election is about hope and empathy -- so I’m not going to try to scare you into donating just so I can raise a buck.
