(I shake your hands with a good heart.) | Thursday night, the Lumbee Tribal Council voted unanimously to partner with Four Directions to turn out their vote in the September 10th Special Election in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District. Here's the resolution: | As you know, Four Directions is a non-partisan Native American voter rights organization. So we’ll find out what Republican Dan Bishop and Democrat Dan McCready think about issues important to Native Americans and then make sure Lumbee Indians know the facts and vote.
We'll be there with our proven program getting Native American voters to the ballot box.
The eyes of the nation will be on North Carolina’s 9th. Will the Republicans hold this for another term or will the Democrats win and earn another seat in Congress breaking the 40-year Republican stronghold?
