This is a long email, but it's important to me that we keep you in the know. We are taking action to stop him. As President Trump and his allies continue to attack voting by mail, we filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court that defends the rights of those who rely on mail-in voting to make their voices heard. We also put 10 states on notice who are being pressured to hand over sensitive, unredacted voter files to the DOJ. The Trump administration is demanding every registered voter's driver's license number, Social Security number, and party affiliation, and wants to tell states who should be allowed to vote. But states — not the DOJ — are in charge of voter registration lists, and ignoring protections against voter purges is a one-way ticket to a federal court. We are urging these states to reject the DOJ agreement, and we're prepared to use every tool at our disposal to protect voters in these states and beyond.
