Today, I am writing first and foremost to say thank you. And I wanted to share a bit of exciting news.
In the days after South Carolina, we’ve raised millions online. It’s incredible. You’re all incredible.
And that’s the other big news. Our team is growing fast.
From our online community right here, to over 150 endorsements across the country in the last few days, I want to thank everyone who joined this campaign.
If you joined because someone you trusted, like your own neighborhood representative, gave me their stamp of approval -- thank you. Welcome.
And I’ve said it all this week, but it bears saying again. This is your campaign -- YOURS. We want you here. We need you here. You have a place here. You, as my friend Senator Klobuchar often says, have a home here.
But we have a long way to go. Last night we fought for delegates, and we came out with a good share, but this is going to come down to a game of numbers. So I’m going to ask one more thing of you that will help our campaign grow and receive as many delegates for the nomination as possible.
Will you add your name to say your vote is 100% for me and Team Joe? Whether you voted last month, yesterday, or will in the coming weeks, we need an updated list of our supporters: We send a lot of messages to you because you are our lifeblood. You kept the lights on when people swore we were about to pack up and go home.
Well, we weren’t then, and we aren’t now. We have all of you. Most importantly, we have a path. A path to win the nomination and to defeat Donald Trump in November.
Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, and Beto O’Rourke all made one of the most difficult decisions one can make, suspending their campaigns that were incredibly powerful and historic. And they’re already working hard to power our movement. Ours.
And their donors and volunteers stepped up Monday and yesterday in a way I will never, ever, ever forget.
It’s powerful. Coming together like this is powerful.
So I have to thank you one last time, for everything. You have put us in a position to win the nomination and bring this thing home. So I am asking one more time.
