Trump and Republicans have abandoned the American people since gaining control of the White House and Congress. In the last few months, they have:

Destroyed the East Wing to build a $300 million gilded ballroom while costs continue to rise.
Called affordability a "hoax" while their policies have led to skyrocketing costs, a stagnant job market, and devastating cuts to health care.
Threatened to withhold SNAP benefits during the government shutdown, leaving millions of families unsure about how they'll put food on the table.

Trump and his allies are hoping that by overwhelming us with their disastrous agenda, we'll be too exhausted and demoralized to fight back.

But we won't be.

Here at the DNC, we're committed to investing early and building the long-term infrastructure we'll need to elect Democrats at every level of government — leaders who don't sell out their constituents for a pat on the back from Donald Trump.

That's why we're asking for your help tonight. The more contributions that we receive now, before 2026 begins, the earlier we'll be able to invest in the states and districts we need to win in order to flip Congress next year.

I’m not done fighting back

Republicans love to preach a "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" and "no government handouts" mentality — until they're talking to a billionaire.

They love to claim that we simply don't have the money to pass policies that will help working people, but they'll miraculously find the money to subsidize tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy.

I'm done being surprised at their hypocrisy, but I'm not done fighting back. Simply put, the rules work differently for different groups of people — and I'm doing everything in my power to put a stop to this rigged system and change this.

Democrats win when we fight like hell for working people. When we champion bold ideas, even if billionaires don't like them. When we stand up to the extremism of Donald Trump's administration.

We do not have to accept MAGA extremism or the billionaire agenda. We can defeat them.

Will you pitch in $7 or anything you can to the DNC to power this critical work? We can — and we must — make our government actually work for working people. I know we can. But we can't take our resounding victories in 2025 as permission to take our foot off the gas. We need to carry this momentum straight into 2026.
