| Emily, Last night, Democrat John W. Ewing won Omaha's mayoral election, defeating long-serving Republican incumbent Jean Stothert and becoming the first Black mayor of Omaha. This win was not luck. It's the result of strategic Democratic investments made by Nebraska Democrats, the Democratic National Committee, and supporters like you. Democrats continue to overperform in election after election this year — winning heavily Republican districts in Iowa and Pennsylvania, defeating the Elon Musk-backed candidate in Wisconsin, and achieving sweeping down-ballot race victories in Nebraska and Texas.
