There has been a lot of talk about what I am thinking about.

Here’s the thing, Emily.

As I travel the country and listen to folks struggling to support themselves with dignity, I am thinking about the Americans who are suffering because of Donald Trump’s lies.

Watch:

Now Trump wants at least $200 billion for this war. Meanwhile, he and his cronies have cut Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, and caused insurance premiums, gas, and other everyday costs to skyrocket.

People have the right to expect that their government wants to alleviate their suffering, not contribute to it.

We must be clear-eyed about what is going on in this country — and the fight ahead. Thank you for being a part of my team as we navigate this next chapter.
