We know the news cycle has been bleak this year.

Trump and his allies are doing everything they can to dismantle our democracy bit by bit — redrawing congressional maps to benefit themselves and attacking the free press. Last weekend, Trump even directly ordered his attorney general to prosecute his political rivals.

But Emily, all hope is not lost. We can — and must — stand up and fight back.

Here's what's happening amid the chaos:

Democrats in every corner of the country are winning or overperforming at record rates. We've won or overperformed in 45 out of 46 key elections this year in states like Iowa, Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and beyond. Voters across the country, in blue, red, and purple states alike, are heading to the ballot box in droves to make sure this administration knows what they think.

At the DNC, we recently wrapped up our Organizing Summer initiative, having expanded our volunteer base to 41,000 volunteers and contacted 1.6 million voters nationwide. But we're not stopping there — we recently launched our All In On 2025 organizing initiative to build on that momentum ahead of November's key elections in states like Virginia and New Jersey.

Every Democrat we elect right now is one more leader holding Trump and his allies accountable and preventing further destruction.
