The candidates also collectively made statements that insult both Hispanic Americans and our neighbors in Latin America. He blasted Trump for "absolutely denigrating an entire group of people" and made clear that these are not the beliefs shared by the American people. Joe Biden is the kind of candidate we need to protect the country against intolerance. The opinions heard on stage last night weren't just upsetting – they were downright scary.
