Iran
Emily, it’s Kamala Harris.
I was asked recently if the war in Iran would be happening under my watch. My answer is simple:
Absolutely not.
First of all, this is a war the American people did not want.
This is a war of choice by a president who has proven himself to be entirely self-indulgent.
After Donald Trump dragged us into this war of choice in Iran, diesel and gas prices surged. And still he has the gall to ask for $300 billion dollars of your tax money to fund it.
We have felt the costs because the people currently in power care more about what is in their own best interest than in the best interest of the working people of America.
Trump's recklessness is needlessly putting our brave service members in harm's way, destroying America's global standing, and making life even more unaffordable for the American people.
And he has no plan and no strategy for how to end this conflict.
During the campaign, Donald Trump promised to end wars rather than start them. It was a lie. Then last year, he said we “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program. That was a lie too.
I am so focused on holding this administration accountable. We must invest in candidates who will put our interests first and put a check on Donald Trump.
This is what I am doing next with Fight for The People PAC. I am going to travel, speak out, and help elect leaders who will fight for us. But I cannot do this alone. I am counting on your support to power this important work.

Another dark money national Republican group just announced they're unleashing $28 million worth of vicious attack ads against our campaign – right after another poll shows me virtually tied with my opponent in this marquee race.
