Emily, it’s Roger Lau, Executive Director at the DNC, and a first-generation American. Today, the Supreme Court reaffirmed what we already knew, upholding the 14th Amendment and the promise that anyone born on American soil is an American citizen. Today, the Court upheld America’s promise. Today, Donald Trump failed. This is a massive victory for our country — but we can’t take our feet off the gas now. Our team at the DNC is fighting every day to protect your rights in the face of Trump and his tyrannical cronies. But this work is only possible thanks to our grassroots supporters, who understand just how important it is to fight back at this moment. If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly. Thank you for meeting this moment, Roger Lau If you gave recently via check or mail, our system may not have yet processed your gift. We are appreciative and thank you greatly for your support. Emily, we’re building the largest midterm operation in DNC history to take back control of Congress this November, but we need your help right now. Your donation today will help fund our work to register new Democrats in battleground states, organize everywhere, and win everywhere. Text JOIN to 43367 Want to receive fewer emails? Click here. Emily, the Supreme Court just gave billionaires the green light to spend even more in our elections. The DNC took up the fight. We did all that could be done, including arguing at the Supreme Court. But the Court overturned its own precedent to rule for Republicans and big money in politics. In a landmark case, the DNC argued to stop JD Vance and the Republicans from changing campaign finance rules in their favor. Conservatives on the Court just sided with the Republicans who appointed them. So now I’m asking every single person reading this email to stop what you’re doing, dig deep, and chip in to the DNC Fight Fund. Because here’s what’s coming next. The Supreme Court’s ruling allows billionaires to funnel money through the Republican Party to spend in coordination with their candidates, carving a clear path around contribution limits. Republicans did this for one simple reason: they can’t compete with us in grassroots donations — so they made it easier for the wealthiest few to tip the scales back in their favor. The odds are now stacked higher against grassroots donors like you. Corruption is far easier. But the last thing we should do is throw in the towel. If we band together instead of giving up — if we get a surge of grassroots support like never before — then we’ll make Republicans regret messing with the rules. We’ll prove that when they try to undermine our impact, we’ll dig that much deeper. And when billionaire cash floods the airwaves, your donation will help Democrats be ready to fight back. If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly. This is it, folks. It’s up to us now. It’s up to you.
