We’re up against a $100+ million beast

I am writing to you today with a request to split a contribution between the Maine Senate Democratic nominee fund, and my work to help elect Democrats across the country.
As you have probably heard, Maine Democrats are holding an election soon.
You don't need a degree in history to understand why it's important that we replace Susan Collins in Maine. Yes, there were the votes for the war in Iraq, the Bush Tax Cuts, for multiple Republican Supreme Court justices, and her vote to help advance the "Big Beautiful Bill."
Turn on the news today, and you will see news of the recent horrifying ICE shooting in Maine. ICE is an agency Susan Collins has had the power to rein in. But she has instead voted to fund it to the tune of billions of dollars without insisting on any reforms.
Emily — This is very likely to be the race that determines control of the Senate. And the unfortunate truth is that the Democrat running in this race starts with no money. Susan Collins starts with millions in the bank and the promise of tens of millions of dollars in outside spending.
