Emily — in case you haven’t heard, Donald Trump recently traveled to Michigan and Georgia to campaign for his hand-picked Senate candidates. These are races Democrats need to win if we want to flip the Senate this November. So we have some good news and some bad news for you… Here’s the situation: Bad news first: MAGA Super PACs and their billionaire allies are already outspending Democrats in key races like Georgia and Michigan. Donald Trump and his allies have amassed nearly a billion dollars in their war chest, and they’re dumping millions into attack ads. This is only going to make fighting back and electing Democrats this year that much harder. But here’s the good news, Emily: Currently, these races, along with other key states like Alaska, North Carolina, Ohio, and Maine, are ranked as toss-ups or lean Dem. This means Democrats have a chance of winning these seats and flipping the Senate. But we know there’s still a lot of work to be done. Polls and race rankings don’t win elections — people do. And where Republicans have their billionaire buddies dumping millions into key races, we have you. Every grassroots donation Democrats receive means another supporter who’s ready to stand up and fight back against Trump’s destructive agenda this year.
