They plan on hiring directors in 17 states to recruit poll workers, poll watchers, and election observers to be their eyes and ears on “every vote cast” on Election Day. This is building off the “success” of their 2024 operation, in which they recruited more than 230,000 volunteers in key states for poll watching, among other duties. Don’t let their branding fool you, this is the opposite of election integrity — it’s a direct threat to the security of our elections. Emily, Republicans know their agenda is historically unpopular and that Democrats’ winning streak this year could foreshadow a landslide in November. So they’re planning to have hawk eyes on the polls to ensure things go their way. Democrats are committed to making sure this doesn’t impact anybody’s ability to vote.
