Emily — Roger Lau here. I have an update on our fundraising goal for this month, and I’ll be honest: It’s not great. We know that around this time of the month, you get emails from all sorts of organizations about their fundraising goals, and it can be hard to parse which ones are being honest. I’m writing to let you know that when we send you an email to tell you we’re falling behind our fundraising goals, we’re being serious. These aren’t fake numbers — we set our goals intentionally each month to ensure that we have the resources to invest in state parties and campaigns, organize everywhere, and win big this November. To be honest, we've had to lower our goals in recent months, and we get it. Americans’ wallets aren’t in the best spot right now thanks to Trump’s economy of chaos. From his tariffs to his war in Iran, it seems like every day, another challenge pops up to make things harder for American families. But the truth is that we can't afford to lower our May goal. Right now we're 71% through the month and only 63% to our $600,000 goal. So I’m writing to ask for your help, Emily. If it matters to you that Democrats have the resources they need to run winning campaigns this year, please make a $7 contribution to the DNC today to help us reach our goal. We’ll put your donation to work immediately to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, across the country. If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly. Thank you for your support, Roger Lau If you gave recently via check or mail, our system may not have yet processed your gift. We are appreciative and thank you greatly for your support. These aren’t fake numbers
