To respond, I made the strategic decision to organize in Louisiana in the coming weeks to aid the redistricting fight after the disastrous and racist Callais decision.

When tonight’s deadline passes, exactly how much the PAC has raised to fund this upcoming work will become public.
If we file a strong report with lots of donations, Republicans will see there is massive grassroots energy ready to fight back against their attacks on our democracy.
If we submit a weak report, they will see that there is no strong pushback to what they are trying to do.
So we are at an inflection point for this important work and the entire country.
Plus, I’ve been a public figure long enough to know that everyone will be watching to see if I still have the grassroots support that has powered me through my career.
