Emily, As the DNC's Executive Director, it's my job to guide our party's long-term strategy. So, as we look ahead to the midterms, here's a quick update for you: Democrats need to flip four Republican seats to take control of the Senate this November. That means winning races in states like Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, and Alaska. To take back the House, we need to hold the seats we have and flip at least three more. This operation is going to take a massive amount of resources. Trust me, our team is crunching the numbers every day. But we also know how to win tough races. That's why at the DNC, we're making unprecedented investments in voter registration and state parties. And we're working to reach voters who may have sat out previous elections. We're doing everything we can to make sure we take back Congress — but to make sure we're on track to win, we have to meet our end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
