Hi Emily, it’s Lorenza Ramirez, the DNC’s National Organizing Director. I wanted to pop in and give you a brief update about When We Count, our largest voter registration program in DNC history. You’ve probably heard this from us before, but Democrats have lost a lot of ground in the last few years when it comes to voter registration. Meanwhile, Republicans have registered 2.4 million voters. This year, we’re making it a priority to flip the script. When We Count is how we’re doing it. I’m on the ground in Phoenix, AZ right now, onboarding our first cohort of fellows. We’re working to register over 250,000 new Democratic voters in key battleground states ahead of the midterm elections in November, and train the next generation of Democratic organizers to fight and win in their own communities. Already this year, we’re seeing Democratic voters show up in a big way — in the last few months, states like Texas and Illinois have seen record-breaking voter turnout at the ballot box. At the DNC, we’re seeing that as proof that when we reach voters, they show up. If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly. Thank you so much, Lorenza If you gave recently via check or mail, our system may not have yet processed your gift. We are appreciative and thank you greatly for your support.
