We’re taking democracy directly to the people

Emily,

House Republicans have made it clear that they're unwilling to hear from the very people they represent. They've sold out their voters and are scared to face them.

So, Democrats are stepping up. If your representative won't show up and do their job, then we will.

We're taking democracy directly to the people and holding People's Town Halls in all 50 states. These town halls offer opportunities for every constituent — regardless of how they voted — to make their voice heard and discuss the issues that matter to them.

Voters are showing up and making their voices heard.

This is just the beginning. We'll keep hitting the road wherever Republicans are too scared to show up. (And if you live in a Republican district, you can use this link to find an event near you).

Thank you, and more to come soon.

BREAKING: The DNC is investing in Wisconsin's April 1 elections as early voting kicks off.

Emily,

Early voting is underway in Wisconsin's pivotal April elections, and the DNC just announced a historically early investment into the Wisconsin Democratic coordinated campaign to fight back against Elon Musk's attempts to buy this election.

If that's all you need to hear, you can use this link to make your first contribution of 2025 to support Democrats' efforts to organize everywhere.

Elon Musk has tried to buy the Wisconsin Supreme Court election for Brad Schimel — spending over $10 million on TV ads, digital ads, and mailers.

The only way we'll fight back against that level of spending is by organizing on the ground.

That's why, as Election Day approaches, the Democratic Party will host phone banks and call more than two million Wisconsin voters in support of candidates who will move the state forward — like Susan Crawford for state Supreme Court and Dr. Jill Underly for reelection to superintendent.

When you pitch in to support the DNC, your $3 contribution goes toward funding efforts like these. So we're asking: Can you make a contribution today to help support the DNC's strategic investments in states like Wisconsin?

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly.

Right now, we need to do everything we can to elect leaders who will check Trump and Elon Musk's power in their states, cities, and districts. To do that, we need to organize everywhere, and the DNC's investment in Wisconsin will help Democrats do just that.

Thank you,

The Democrats

P.S. Can't pitch in but want to get involved in the upcoming Wisconsin elections? Use this link to help make calls to voters.

Emily,

I want to share a few quick updates on what Democrats are doing (and no, this is not a fundraising request).

First, I wanted to make sure you saw this:

Headlines about DNC town halls

The DNC has partnered with our local and national colleagues across the Democratic Party to to host People's Town Halls in all 50 states. And here's the kicker: we're holding them in Republican districts.

Since Republicans are too spineless to face their own constituents after putting health care on the chopping block to fund tax breaks for billionaires, Democrats will do it for them.

In the last few days, thousands of voters have shown up at the town halls we organized in Iowa, Nebraska, and Florida — even though their own elected officials did not. What we heard from these constituents is that they're furious — and fed up — with what Republicans have done to betray their voters in only two months.

Democrats are showing up for voters nationwide. Follow this link to see if there is a town hall near you. I hope to see you out there.

Second, I want to share that the DNC is currently suing Donald Trump over his clearly unlawful attempt to take over the independent agency that ensures we have neutral elections in our country.

In the United States, we are guaranteed fair elections with impartial referees — the Federal Election Commission (FEC) helps make sure of that — as opposed to a system where Trump can hand down his preferred campaign rules from his perch in the White House.

His executive order to control the FEC is a grave threat to this guarantee.

For the future of our democracy, it's critical that we use every tool at our disposal — including aggressively confronting Trump's illegal actions in the courts — to defend voters' right to free and fair elections. I hope to have more updates on this to share soon.

Lastly, if you are looking for another way to get involved in the fight to protect our democracy, I highly encourage you to consider volunteering to support Democrats running in April 1 special elections in Wisconsin and Florida.

I've already traveled to Wisconsin to knock doors for our candidates there and I'll be volunteering however I can in the lead up to these races.

Right now, we need to elect as many Democrats as possible — that's how we can check Trump and Musk's power and get back to work at improving people's lives. The best way to start is by winning the races right in front of us. Please, get involved using this link.

The fight isn't coming — it's already here. Thank you for your support and for taking the time to read this message,

Ken

ActBlue

Over the last few months, Republicans have escalated their attacks on an unlikely target: ActBlue, the platform many Democrats use to receive campaign contributions.
‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Over the last few months, Republicans have escalated their attacks on an unlikely target: ActBlue, the platform Kamala Harris and many Democrats use to receive campaign contributions.

The far-right has threatened bogus investigations into ActBlue and Elon Musk keeps firing off tweets about a massive scandal.

But why are they going after ActBlue and why now?

Republicans are attacking ActBlue because small-dollar donations from people like you are a major advantage for Democratic campaigns up-and-down the ballot. They also provide a huge amount of support organizing to stop Trump's agenda.

And they know that if they can harm or degrade YOUR ability to make those donations, it becomes easier for billionaires like Elon Musk to buy elections and harder for us to stop Trump's agenda.

The Democratic National Committee is leading the fight to elect Democrats and stop Trump. And they can't do it without donations from people like you who make their work possible.

Republicans know that -- and that's why they attack. Hopefully it shows you, today, just how important your donations are. So we're asking:

Can you make a donation to the Democratic National Committee to fight back against Republicans trying to disempower small-dollar donors like you? The DNC is looking for lots and lots of donations as Republicans try to pass Trump's agenda.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly.

When we act together, we are more powerful than any unelected billionaire. But don't take our word for it, watch the way Republicans try and stop you.

Team Kamala

Emily,

Every day we see the disastrous consequences of Trump's presidency. In the short time he's been in office, he's already tried to rip away fundamental things like child care and health care access that working people rely on.

Right now, the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, is trying to defund everything from Social Security to your public school. JD Vance recently claimed that federal judges "aren't allowed" to check the Trump-Vance administration's enactment of Project 2025. These are the very real circumstances we are living under right now.

But we are not powerless. Millions of people voted against Trump and his allies. There are millions of us who won't stand idly by and let Trump and a Republican-controlled Congress do whatever they want.

We can — and will — fight back against Trump and his allies' Project 2025 agenda. But to do that, we'll need a strong, organized Democratic Party leading the way.

That's why I'm reaching out to you today, Emily. The Democratic National Committee is the organization best positioned to move resources to the places they're needed most in 2025, 2026, and beyond, as we work to elect the Democrats who will be a check on Trump's power.

If holding Trump accountable and electing Democrats at every level matters to you, I'm asking you to chip in $3 today to help:

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly.

Trump, Elon Musk, and JD Vance aren't above the law. Our democracy is meant to represent the interests of all Americans, not just the rich. And I'm committed to fighting back alongside the millions of people who don't see themselves represented in Trump's America.

Thank you for joining me in this fight,

Tim

The Special Elections in Florida

Any Democrat we elect right now is another Democrat fighting against Trump and his allies' extreme, harmful agenda.

Emily,

In just a few weeks, special elections will take place in Florida for two previously Republican-held House seats. Let us explain why these campaigns are so important:

Republicans' House majority is razor thin. Any Democrat we elect right now is another Democrat fighting against Trump and his allies' extreme, harmful agenda.

Like DNC Chair Ken Martin has said, part of his vision is to compete everywhere — and especially as Democrats continue to overperform in special elections throughout the country — we need to do our part to compete in Florida this April.

If that's all you need to hear, please split a donation between the Florida Democratic Party and the DNC by clicking this link.

Now, to tell you a little bit more about these races:

Gay Valimont for FL-1: Gay Valimont is running to fill a house seat that was vacated by Matt Gaetz. While navigating the terminal illnesses of both her husband and son at the same time, Gay saw firsthand how broken our health care system is for too many people. In Congress, Gay will fight to expand access to affordable health care and to bring down prescription drug prices.

Josh Weil for FL-6: Josh Weil is a proud single father and public school educator who wants to help the people of Florida, protect schools, and make a brighter future for all of us. He wants to protect our environment, fix health care, lower prescription drug prices, keep up with inflation for seniors living on a fixed income, and make our economy work for working people — not just the rich.

Click here to split a contribution between the Florida Democratic Party and the DNC right now. Your donation will help Democrats fight to win these special elections, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your split contribution between the Florida Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee instantly:

Thank you for standing with us,

The Democrats

Elon Musk and the Wisconsin Supreme Court race

‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

$10.

That's the amount we're asking you to split between the DNC and the Wisconsin Democratic Party ahead of the state's April 1 Supreme Court election.

$10 because the winner of this race will be the deciding vote on the state's highest court.

$10 because Elon Musk is pouring millions of dollars into the state — all with the goal of creating a MAGA Supreme Court that will rubber-stamp the Trump-Musk agenda.

$10 because the stakes couldn't be higher and Democrats need the resources to reach undecided voters in the final days before Election Day.

Thousands of people have already chipped in to help ensure Democrats have the resources they'll need in Wisconsin for this election and those to come. Now they're hoping you'll join them.

Can you split a $10 contribution between the DNC and the Wisconsin Democratic Party today to support Democratic candidates up and down the ticket, this spring and beyond?

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your split contribution between the Wisconsin Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee instantly:
