Hi Emily, We're continuing to build a strong Democratic Party that can do two things: 1. Mobilize and organize against Trump, Elon Musk, and their Congressional allies' harmful policies. 2. Build the infrastructure we'll need to elect Democrats at all levels of government — leaders who will check Trump's power in their cities, districts, and states. Here's what that looks like: We've filed multiple lawsuits against Trump. We're using every tool at our disposal — including taking Trump to court — to stop Trump's power grab attempts. We're holding People's Town Halls across the country, showing up in districts where Republican representatives won't. We're giving everyone an opportunity — regardless of how they voted — to show up and make their voice heard. At the same time, we're making a historic $1 million monthly investment in our state parties, and we're building a robust on-the-ground organizing operation. We're already seeing our work pay off: Democrats have massively overperformed in nearly every special election this year. The work we are doing right now is not flashy, but it's absolutely essential. There has never been a more important time to join the fight, and it's going to take all of us stepping up to check Trump and his administration at every turn while working to elect Democrats who will do the same. So we're asking: Can you make your first $3 contribution of 2025 to help support this work? If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly. It's Tim Hogan, the new War Room Director at the DNC. | Hi Emily, It's Tim Hogan, the new War Room director at the DNC. The War Room is the DNC's new rapid response operation to innovate in how Democrats communicate and hold the Trump administration accountable. In leading this work, my job is to make sure we effectively share Democratic wins online, strengthen our opposition to Trump, and implement an expansive research operation to put Republicans on defense in their districts. To do all of this, we'll need resources to hire talented and diverse staff and build long-lasting Democratic infrastructure. That's why I'm writing to ask you to make a donation to the DNC. $3, that's the ask. $3 to drive a cohesive daily message emphasizing the harm that Trump and his allies are doing to millions of people. $3 to leverage a deep bench of surrogates to reach beyond Democrats' traditional audiences and make sure our message is reaching people all over the country, online, in Republican spaces, and beyond. $3 to expand our media monitoring and research operation to ensure that we're countering Trump and his allies' consequential lies in every appearance, interview or social media post. No donation is too small. I've spent the last 15 years working at the intersection of politics and media on campaigns to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, especially in the Midwest. I know better than anyone that it's time for the Democrats to step up our social media presence and to build online infrastructure that lasts for years to come. Any amount will help us build the foundation we'll need. The number of donations we'll receive from Democrats like you will take care of the rest. Can you please use this link to contribute $3 (or whatever you can afford) directly to the Democratic National Committee to help us build the strongest possible Party? If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly. Thanks! | Emily, take a look at these names: Tom Barrett (MI-07) Don Bacon (NE-02) Mike Lawler (NY-17) Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01) These are four Republicans who are poised to once again vote to rip away health care access from their constituents. And they're four of the most vulnerable House Republicans, representing districts that could very well flip in 2026. So we've put them on notice. We've launched a pressure campaign to get these representatives to listen to their constituents and vote against Trump's budget bill and their party's dangerous cuts to Medicaid. We'll be applying pressure at events like town halls, online, and on the phone as we work to get as many constituents as possible to contact their representatives and urge them to do the right thing. Work like this is only possible with your help, Emily. With Medicaid on the line, will you pitch in $3 now to help fund the DNC's work to protect health care for millions of Americans? If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly. With so much at stake, everything we do makes a difference — especially right now. Thank you for everything, The Democrats If you gave recently via check or mail, our system may not have yet processed your gift. We are appreciative and thank you greatly for your support. | Emily, Every single day, I'm hearing from people like you who are enraged by Donald Trump. Rightfully so. I am too. Donald Trump has driven our country off the cliff. He's personally igniting crisis after crisis, and the cowards he surrounds himself with are only enabling him. Just over 100 days into his presidency, Republicans in Congress have proven they won't stand up to Trump — or stand up for Americans. In fact, they're putting health care on the chopping block for 80 million Americans just to give a tax handout to Trump's billionaire friends. We can't just sit by and watch it happen. We're organizing. We're fighting back. We've just launched our "Fight to Save Medicaid" month of action to put vulnerable House Republicans on notice in case they think they can get away with ripping health care away from their own constituents. Specifically, we're targeting four vulnerable Republicans — Tom Barrett (MI-07), Don Bacon (NE-02), Mike Lawler (NY-17), and Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01). These Republicans need to understand something: the price for this vote is their job. And we're going to deliver that message loud and clear: in town halls, by urging voters to contact their representatives, and through constant pressure and accountability. Our representatives must serve the people — not ignore them — and certainly not harm them. Republicans will either learn that lesson now or at the ballot box. I'll leave you with a few other updates on Democrats' work: Over the last few months, we've told you about the lawsuits we've filed against Trump. We recently got a big win, as a U.S. District Court judge blocked key parts of Trump's illegal executive order that attempts to undermine our elections. Without this decision, many Americans across the country — including married women who changed their last name — could have been unable to register to vote. We recently announced a $1 million monthly investment in our state parties — an investment unlike anything Democrats have done in modern times. Elections are won in states and that's exactly where we'll be investing our resources. Our work isn't just about organizing to fight back against Trump. It's about organizing to make people's lives better. Thanks to supporters like you, that's exactly what we're doing. Thank you, and I'll have more to share soon. If stopping Trump's agenda and electing Democrats that will hold him accountable is important to you… $5. That is the donation Kamala Harris is hoping you'll make to the Democratic National Committee today. Yes, $5. $5 because the DNC is leading the fight to stop Trump from cutting funding for lifesaving programs in order to give tax cuts for some of the richest people in this country. $5 because the DNC is also leading the fight to hold Trump accountable in the courts — already initiating a lawsuit to stop a Trump executive order that would suppress voters and upend voter registration systems. $5 because yes, the DNC is also leading the fight to elect Democrats across the country, including taking back the House so we can stop his agenda in Congress. As you can imagine — doing all of that is expensive. We're sure you'd also agree it's important work that must be done. But the only way to fund that work to successful completion is with the generous donations of people who care enough about the outcomes to act. We know that $5 may not seem like it can do all that, but as you read this, lots and lots of people are donating to the DNC. Now they are hopeful you'll add a donation of your own. What do you say? If stopping Trump's agenda and electing Democrats who will hold him accountable feels worth $5 to you, and if you are able to make that donation, Kamala Harris is hopeful you'll use this link to do it today. If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly. Thank you in advance for contributing. It means a lot to the VP, and to our chances in the fight ahead. | Emily, I've said from day one that Democrats need to be willing to go everywhere to talk to voters. So over the weekend, I went on Fox News to do just that. First, I laid out the facts: Trump said he would have a booming economy, but the economy has shrunk. There is a high likelihood that we are heading toward a recession. Leading financial experts are saying that a recession is our country's best case. At the same time, Trump is putting forward a budget that is going to decimate the American family. That budget will cut health care, destroy early childhood education, and take warm food away from kids — all to give a tax break to the richest people in this country. Instead of fighting for — or even listening to — the people they were elected to represent, congressional Republicans are capitulating to Trump at every turn. So here was my message to Fox News watchers: If Republicans won't do their jobs, Democrats will. In the last six weeks alone, Democrats have held more than 100 town halls in over 45 states, because Republicans have refused to listen to their own constituents. We are showing working people in every corner of the country that we stand with them. Of course, we're resisting Trump with every fiber — but we're also showing folks that we're on a mission to improve their lives. That's why we're continuing to hold town halls across the country. It's why we're investing $1 million a month into our state parties. It's why we've recently launched a War Room to get our message out. And it's why I went on Fox this weekend. If you want to help, there are two things you can do right now: -
Join our national campaign to pressure four vulnerable Republicans to vote NO on Trump's budget bill and protect Medicaid for 80 million Americans. You can use this link to get started. -

  | Emily, You might remember that Democrats recently sued Trump over his illegal executive order, which had attempted to suppress voters, upend voter registration systems, hand over sensitive information to DOGE, stop states from counting eligible mail ballots, and withhold federal election funding from dozens of states in the process. Well, we recently had an important update in this case. A U.S. District Court judge blocked key parts of Trump's order, an important step forward in the fight to protect our democracy. Without this decision, Americans across the country — including married women who changed their last name — could have faced significant roadblocks in registering to vote. But Democrats fought back, and with your support, we'll do it again. We'll keep using every tool at our disposal — including taking Trump to court — to defend the right to vote. Going up against Trump and the richest man in the world is not easy — but Democrats are committed to keeping up the fight. If work like this is important to you, I hope you'll consider chipping in a few dollars to help fund it.
