Acting is my passion, and using characters and storytelling to make a difference in the world is my calling. But today, I'm reaching out to share why I'm supporting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the presidential election -- and why I hope you will, too. I remember when I heard the news that President Biden and Vice President Harris had defeated Donald Trump back in 2020. It was an exciting and important moment for our country. Democracy prevailed, and we saw firsthand how their message of unity and progress resonated with folks across the country. As a woman, and mother of a Black son, the relief and hope that I felt was unmatched. Emily, I want to feel that feeling again.
