We hope you've had a great week. As summer ramps up, you might be getting a lot of calls and texts from folks in your life about the state of the race. You might be wondering how to handle some of the tense kitchen table conversations about Joe running for reelection and how exactly we're going to defeat Donald Trump in November. The good news is that we're building a powerful grassroots movement, full of folks like you who are with us in this fight and who know how much is at stake in this election. That's why we wanted to share this with you directly, folks. We just released a new ad reminding voters exactly who Trump is: a liar and an extremist who is running a campaign of revenge and retribution.

NO SURPRISES HERE: DONALD TRUMP IS A THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY. WE SAW IT ON THE DEBATE STAGE. On the debate stage, Donald Trump spewed dozens of false claims and lies. And when he wasn't lying, Trump was dodging key questions on child care, climate change, Jan. 6, accepting the results of this election, foreign policy, and the opioid epidemic. The fact of the matter is that Donald Trump is a threat to our country and our democracy. Everything he does is to serve himself, not the American people. Lately, Trump has: Defended the end of Roe v. Wade, saying it's been a great thing. Said that the pro-Trump Nazi march in Charlottesville was made up. Said that on Jan. 6 we were respected all over the world. Defended his 34 felony convictions, saying the system was rigged and he did nothing wrong. Our democracy is too important to let an unhinged, ranting and raving lunatic who is only focused on giving tax breaks to himself and his wealthy friends anywhere near the Oval Office again.

PRESIDENT BIDEN'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS SHOW HIS COMMITMENT TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Here are just some of the accomplishments the Biden-Harris administration has spearheaded over the past four years: Created more jobs than any president in history Took the largest climate action in the history of the country Lowered the price of insulin to $35 a month for seniors Canceled student loans for nearly 5 million people Passed the first gun violence prevention bill in 30 years Expanded health care to millions of families Rallied the world in support of Ukraine, and expanded NATO while doing it Passed the largest investment in bridges and roads since the interstate highway system was built Pardoned thousands of Americans convicted federally of marijuana possession Expanded benefits to veterans who have been exposed to toxic chemicals Officially protected same-sex marriage federally Saved the pensions of more than 1 million union workers and retirees Expanded paid overtime to working families Made birth control pills available over the counter Put the first Black woman on the Supreme Court. President Biden can do so much more with four more years in the White House. But that will only happen if this team unites together to power him to victory.
