Thank you, Georgia! After last night’s primary, I am officially the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Georgia. This race in Georgia is likely to be the most competitive and expensive U.S. Senate race in 2026. I am the *only* endangered Democratic incumbent U.S. Senator in the midterms. Republicans are preparing to unleash massive resources attacking me and this seat. But our victory will be powered once again by overwhelming grassroots support. Before I was elected, I led investigations of corruption and human rights abuses worldwide. We exposed wrongdoing in countries where criticizing the government is dangerous, where whistleblowers and witnesses will only meet in secret, where protest carries the risk of prosecution. More and more, the atmosphere under Trump has reminded me of those places — places where dissent was silenced by intimidation and where unaccountable elites plunder and trade power for profit with impunity. I ran for Senate because I saw that Trump’s election endangered our Republic and I was determined to confront him and the corruption that made his rise possible. And that work isn’t over yet.
